Series Development

Supervised the production of a five-episode web series on the civil rights movement, using a trove of unearthed footage from Striking Voices and MSU archives. Episodes included the introduction of sharecropping  to the Memphis sanitation strikes and the subsequent 1968 assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Launched Video Consortium TV, piloted episode formats, designed all templates and packaging. Produced 30+ episodes for  VCTV’s YouTube channel, highlighting award-winning nonfiction storytelling for the world’s largest community of nonfiction filmmakers.

Produced, hosted, and edited a four-part series teaching high school students how to identify and combat media misinformation. Developed corresponding curriculum for in-class lessons with PBS LearningMedia.

Launched NowThis World, a YouTube channel with more than two million subscribers.Co-wrote and produced 13 episodes explaining the background of countries, influential leaders, and ongoing global conflicts. Designed the set background and developed workflows for publication three times a week.

This Konami-branded series explores cosplay culture through the eyes of four cosplayers. Produced, filmed, and edited four episodes as a one-man-band.

Launched Facebook Watch series “Racist History” for Splinter News, which garnered over 25 million views. Wrote and managed production of videos on topics such as the crack epidemic, adult websites, and higher ed.

Oversaw final edits and promoted the launch of this 11-episode web series which uses humor and empathy to subvert stereotypes and reveal the truth about American Muslims. Created templates, branding, and packaging for publication.

Filmed, wrote and edited this profile series, which takes a closer look at everyday Americans creating social change. Profiles included Rep. Rashida Tlaib, during her first election in Michigan, and saxophone player Sax of Shaolin as he busks on the streets of New York.
